These health conditions, along with others such as arthritis and dementia, affect a substantial proportion of the population. A good understanding of common health conditions is essential in any care environment.[/ohio_text]

This qualification aims to develop the learner’s knowledge
and understanding of:
• various common health conditions
• monitoring the health of individuals affected by health conditions.

The objective of this qualification is to:
• prepare learners for further training and to support a role in the workplace where the individual may work or interact with those experiencing different health conditions.[/ohio_text]
